As someone who has spent more than two decades helping organizations align technology with real-world needs, I’ve learned to ignore the noise and look at what’s quietly becoming inevitable.
What I see now is simple: by 2026, every organization, whether you’re a nonprofit trying to stretch a grant dollar, a startup moving fast, or a small business that just wants systems to “work”, will need to think about their AI stack.
The AI stack isn’t a single product or magic solution. It’s a combination of tools, policies, and roles that shape how AI fits into your operations. Without structure, you risk confusion, wasted spending, or worse, security gaps you didn’t know existed. With the right structure, AI becomes what good technology should be: something that works quietly in the background, letting your people focus on what really matters.
